New fan here, but what a fan I am!
I just caught DBB at the NY Harvest Festival a couple weekends ago, and was completely blown away with how tight, how funky, and how much FUN that show was.
I occasionally run into Dennis Chambers (drummer for PFunk, Santana, and others) through my job, and gave him the suggestion to check out DBB's 11-26-2003 show on the internet archive. I think he'll be impressed!
Thank you so much for this incredible music. I'm sad I hadn't heard it before, but damn, am I glad I'm in on it now. May try to get up to Toad's Place for Funksgiving ... coming from Baltimore, MD though so it may be tough. I need another DBB fix!

Glad you had FUN! DBB has shared the stage with PFunk on several occasions, if memory serves me well the first time was at Croton Point Park in like '99 I think. At one gig up in Danbury CT, George and PFunk opened for DBB, that was crazy. And of course they both the the the stage at the Vibes in 07!
